UC Berkeley Global Innovation Forum
|
Proto CEO David Nussbaum presented at the prestigious Global Innovation Forum at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, where we announced the world’s first hologram doctor-patient appointments at West Cancer Center in Memphis. To demonstrate this, doctors beamed into a Proto Epic from Tennessee to interact with attendees from Microsoft, Medtronic, Dell, Siemens, and the giant Indian hospital chain, Apollo Hospitals, whose CEO described Proto as a perfect solution for the shortage of doctors in her country. Proto CFO and Co-Founder Doug Barry, himself a Haas School graduate, was able to network with everyone at the conference at dinners and other events.
David also showcased Proto's new AI tools with a hologram AI persona of Howie Mandel, impressing the audience with its conversational abilities, including fluency in Telugu. Fast Company covered the event, sparking global interest in Proto's healthcare applications.
